"Official Chiropractor of the 3M Championship"
of Extreme Makeover
As Seen On
The Fox 9 news story was told through one of Dr. Hart's patients, six-month-old Ava Cahill, who suffered from colic. "She would cry for almost three hours at night, nonstop," recalls Jennifer Cahill, Ava's mother. She adds that after beginning treatments with Dr. Hart, Ava became a totally different kid. "She's just the calmest baby in the world. She rarely cries. It's amazing," she says.
Dr. Hart opened his practice, Hart Family Chiropractic, in Blaine, Minn., about three years ago. "I treat anyone from infants to the elderly, specializing in spinal correction, adjustments, neck curves, nutrition, and exercise," he says. According to Dr. Hart, a Fox 9 news reporter contacted him about being featured in a segment after hearing about the work he does with infants. "I thought this was a great message for the chiropractic community," Dr. Hart says.
A year prior, in August 2007, Dr. Hart and his team were involved with "Extreme Makeover - Home Edition." TJB Homes was the team that worked on the home, and its owner, Tom Budzynski, is a patient of Dr. Hart's. He approached Dr. Hart about being a part of this effort. "We were on site providing chiropractic work to individuals working the home," Dr. Hart said. "It was really cool seeing the progress each day."
Dr. Hart has been an associate faculty member at Northwestern since 1996, responsible for teaching third and fourth-year chiropractic students in a clinical setting. He credits some of his success to the skills he learned as a student at the University.
